Maidaan Box Office Collection Day 14: Ajay Devgn’s Film Struggles to Make an Impact

The highly anticipated sports drama Maidaan, starring Ajay Devgn, hit the theatres on Eid 2024. However, despite the big release, the film failed to make a mark at the box office. On its 14th day, Maidaan only managed to earn Rs 75 lakh, bringing its total collection to Rs 37.80 crore.

The movie, which tells the story of Syed Abdul Rahim’s dedication to football, received mixed reviews from both audiences and critics. Ajay Devgn’s portrayal of Rahim, along with the performances of Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Rudranil Ghosh, failed to impress the viewers.

Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and featuring music by AR Rahman, Maidaan faced tough competition from Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Despite the clash, the film struggled to attract audiences to the theatres.
